These pieces are constructed from fragments of found natural artifacts, reclaimed building materials, repurposed packaging and simulations of natural objects/materials using handmade or recycled paper. Encaustic medium/paint (beeswax, damar resin and pigment) is usually used as adhesive and for surface effects.
